Car was overheating and Jason came through in the clutch after hours with a tow for a more than fair price. He was very nice and even dropped us off at home after dropping off the vehicle off at a repair shop.
The nightmare scenario... we go to pick up some furniture with an old farm truck only to get stuck on a small icy road on a long incline and blocking traffic at night. Precariously positioned and stalled, unable to restart the now exhausted vehicle, we were desperate. No problem, we have AAA. Well, after nearly an hour wait, they almost got stuck themselves and basically suggested they couldn't help. I had to carefully roll backwards down the hill myself in the dark and unable to see to stow the vehicle on the roadside. Fast forward to the next evening, still no way to get the truck running, Devin at J&K Roadside Service was able to pick up the old truck with the furniture in place and drop it at my house and even help us pull the furniture from the pickup undamaged. An unnerving and frustrating situation made right by great service, innovative thinking and a willingness to go the extra mile... no pun intended. I highly, highly recommend J&K Roadside Service!!!
I was taking my daughter school clothes shopping the weekend before school started, we love in Lansing, MI but wanted to shop in Grand Rapids. We were about 25 minutes from the Outlet Mall when my exhaust started dragging from under my car, I pulled to the side on the highway, (96 West) stopped and began calling tow truck places nearby. I was about 10 miles from the Holland Exit 44. It was 94 degrees outside and the traffic was super busy. I tried so many tow truck companies but they had 4-5 hour waits. But when I called J&K Towing, the young lady that answered was SO VERY KIND, I think her name was Brittany, I explained what happened and she was gonna try to reach someone that could possibly help temporarily repair the exhaust so I could drive it. When I heard back from them, she told me someone was on their way, it would be 45 minutes. Well, it was 20 minutes and there he was. Jason, I think his name was, saw that my exhaust was partially hanging from the front end, neither of us had a wire hanger, so he phoned his office and Brittany(?), actually brought a wire for Jason (?) to tie up the exhaust so I could drive it. Jason stayed with us the entire time, to make sure we were safe! After Jason tied up the exhaust, we were good to go! I cannot thank you enough for coming to our rescue and taking the time to help us out and be our Angel. My daughter and I will always be grateful to Jason & Brittany for helping us during such a stressful day!! THANK YOU!
I went to look at some property to build on tonight. It was on a private, unplowed road. Needless to say I got my SUV stuck with my four year old in the car. J&K sent out a tow truck and it also got stuck (I felt vindicated!). Jason came and pulled out the tow truck and got me out as well. He was kind and very professional. I have never needed a tow before (42 yrs old) but if I ever need one again I have his number saved! Thanks again!

Yesterday, my car broke down on a busy I96 just outside Grand Rapids. It was busy and it was cold and I was stranded. To make a very long story of dissatisfaction with AAA shorter, suffice to say that I called AAA and was poorly served. I called at 1250 and they told me they called someone for me but it would be a long wait...arriving at 230pm. I won't say the other company. At about 2pm I called the other company for an ETA to find out that they had sent a rejection to AAA due to distance so I called back AAA. They forgot to call anyone for me and left me stranded in 27 degree weather (I am senior citizen). They ended up calling J and K for me who got there as quickly as they could. The driver, STEVE was so nice. Imagine by this time, it was 330pm and I had been stranded with no heat or food or water or means to use the bathroom since 1250!!!! He was kind enough to stop at a station for me to use the bathroom!!!! He was nice, comforting, happy and got me safely to the car drop off destination 64 miles away. Thank you to STEVE for making an otherwise terrible situation palatable. I cannot rave about him enough as a representation of J and K and IF the owners are reading this...please...you have no idea the gift you have in this driver. I highly recommend this company. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!
Our daughter locked our 3 month grandson on her car, we called for help. They sent Jason immediately and in 15 minutes he was here and unlocked the car. Amazing service and so caring. Thank you for making our whole day.
Best men ever! Unfortunately we met tonight because of the accident I was in but because of J&K I seriously couldn’t of been in better hands. My husband & son are out of town so when the State Police called J&K it was because they were willing to be on the job at 5:00 pm and they were there very quickly. It meant the world to me to be surrounded by these two men of integrity that treated me & my wrecked Nitro with great care. God works in mysterious ways and I saw blessing out of this accident that could have been much worse and ended with peace. Thank you from the bottom of my heart J&K - you were a Godsend!!!
The hood on our truck blew up while we were driving and these guys were driving by and stopped without hesitation to help. They got our hood down and stayed until everything was fastened down and never took a dime. We would like to Thank Jason for his help!! We will forever call J&K if we need service or anything else again.
